CANYON (now Banks)

Ten young puppies were abandoned at a veterinary hospital and then transferred to the shelter. Frightened, sick, and without a family to advocate for them, their future looked grim. In years past, a positive parvo diagnosis often meant little hope. But today, thanks to a groundbreaking treatment, parvo is no longer the death sentence it once was. A generous supporter donated enough to treat all ten and eight survived. Canyon (now named Banks) was one of the surviving puppies and now he has a new home! We are so happy to have played a part in providing this baby the opportunity to find a forever family and live a long life!
TOMMY

Three Great Pyrenees mix puppies, two males named Tommy Boy and Trouble, and one female named Robin, were found as strays and taken to a kill shelter in Orange County. Tommy Boy and Robin both had parvo and Trouble had a fractured back leg. The AALOC team knew these young dogs didn’t stand a chance with their medical issues and would be euthanized, so a volunteer pulled them out of the kill shelter to receive the medical attention they needed and the chance to find forever homes at AALOC. They all recovered and were waiting for their forever homes. Trouble and Robin were adopted together but Tommy Boy wasn't as lucky until this week when he was blessed not only with a new home but one that will allow him to visit his siblings frequently. Tommy Boy was adopted by the mother of the couple who adopted Robin and Trouble. We are so grateful these pups will now live long lives together!
