    OTHER FINANCIAL SUPPORT PROGRAMS

We strongly recommend you call everyone on the list below ASAP, leave messages and answer your phone when you are called back. Most volunteers from these organizations call from their own phones which are usually blocked numbers. Do not miss a phone call as they may not call back. Be persistent in calling the groups until you get a response. Many people who call the numbers provided are successful in getting donations to help with their vet expenses so their pets can be treated.

Have you applied for Care Credit?  This credit card allows no interest for 6-12 months. Visit http://www.carecredit.com/contact.html or call (800) 677-0718 to apply for a Care Credit card. For more information on choosing Care Credit for help with your vet bill please click this link.

Have you considered having a yard sale ASAP?  Including anything you haven't worn or used in the last 6-12 months can bring in several hundred dollars.

When contacting organizations for donations, they will want the following information:

    • Your name, address, telephone number
    • Your vet's name, telephone number
    • Your pet's name, age, breed, if neutered/spayed
    • The cost of treatment
    • The amount that you are able to pay for your pet's treatment
    • Proof of financial hardship:  bank statement/ pay stub/ government issued proof of aid.

Please keep us posted on your pet's progress as soon as you can.   We will keep your pet in our thoughts and prayers.
