ABOUT SIERRA
We have no way of knowing how Sierra ended up living on the streets with a homeless person. She may have been a treasured pet who got lost or perhaps she was taken by someone from her backyard, but her life got so much better when a compassionate person was able to secure Sierra from the homeless individual and bring her to AALOC.
After having her checked by our vet it was determined that Sierra had been previously bred. She also needed a good bath and be treated for some dermatology issues. The great news is that all her skin, fecal and blood tests came back normal and she is ready to find a new home.
Sierra is an adult female French bulldog. She is very sweet and loves getting attention from the staff at AALOC.
In general, French Bulldogs are affectionate, playful, and intelligent companions known for their easygoing, "clown-like" personalities. They are highly people-oriented, rarely bark, and thrive on companionship, making them ideal for apartment living. However, they can be stubborn, require consistent training, and are prone to separation anxiety if left alone.
Please complete an application to adopt Sierra. Once your application is reviewed and approved, we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Sierra and get to know her a bit. For more information on adoption policies click here to view our dog adoption requirements.
Donation of $300 includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit (in Orange County, CA). For more information on adopting a dog, contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org or by phone (714) 893-4393.
