ABOUT CODY
Cody was reportedly found as a stray in Orange County. When he arrived at another shelter he was diagnosed as being Parvo positive. The shelter sent an urgent request to all available local rescues and AALOC was the only one to respond. AALOC knew Cody could be treated and cured with new drugs available for Parvo positive dogs. Cody has since recovered and is ready to be adopted.
Cody is a young pit bull weighing about 58 pounds. He has a sweet disposition and is affectionate. Although Cody has no special medical needs, as a breed, pit bulls can be high energy. Cody’s new owner will need to provide Cody with plenty of exercise and able to handle a larger dog. Pit bulls are also known to be smart and eager to please, making them responsive to positive training.
Please apply to adopt Cody. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Cody and get to know him a bit. For more information on adoption policies click here to view our dog adoption requirements.
Adoption donation of $300 includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances.
