AIDEN & EDEN
Parvo is no longer a death sentence since new medication that effectively cures the disease is now available. Unfortunately, many shelters do not have the resources to provide this lifesaving medication and once a dog has tested for Parvo, they automatically euthanize it. Sometimes it also means that littermates that are not currently testing positive for Parvo are also euthanized. That’s how Aiden and Eden’s story starts.
These two young Labrador/Mastiff dogs were scheduled for euthanasia because Aiden had been diagnosed with Parvo. An AALOC volunteer rushed to Aiden and Eden’s rescue at the last minute and took both dogs to our vet to receive the medical care they needed. Eden eventually tested positive for Parvo as well, but both Aiden and Eden have fully recovered with proper veterinarian care. Both are now wiggly, happy pooches looking for new forever homes.
Aiden’s coat is black with distinctive brown paws. Eden’s coat is brindle. Based on their suspected breeds and current size we anticipate both will grow to large-size dogs.
Please apply to adopt Aiden or Eden. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet them and get to know them a bit. For more information on adoption policies click here to view our dog adoption requirements.
Adoption donation of $300 includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances.
