ABOUT OSCAR PIASTRI
Oscar Piastri’s – called Piastri for short - journey to adoption has already been an adventure. His pregnant mother was abandoned in a carrier at a neighboring home, and within days she delivered six kittens. When the kittens were just six days old, their mother became gravely ill and needed emergency hospitalization. A wonderful foster stepped up to care for the entire litter, bottle-feeding and raising them for the next 12 weeks. Thanks to that devotion, Piastri has grown into a happy, healthy overachiever who is now ready to find a forever home of his own.
Piastri has the biggest paws and an even bigger personality! This fluffy black-and-orange kitten has been determined from day one—he was the first of his litter to open his eyes, walk, master the litter box, and discover the joys of wet food. Equal parts clever and goofy, Piastri will keep you laughing with his clumsy antics, adorable chirps, and his uncanny ability to squeeze through spaces that seem impossibly small.
Piastri is as affectionate as they come. He loves greeting his favorite people with enthusiastic head bonks, a thunderous purr, and the occasional attempt to nibble your hair. Hold him like a baby, and he'll happily reach up to touch your face before melting into your arms like a floppy little noodle. When he's not cuddling, he's busy watching birds from the window, investigating the kitchen for snacks, or inviting everyone—people and cats alike—to join his next play session.
Friendly, confident, and wonderfully social, Piastri would thrive in almost any home, whether with another playful cat or as the center of attention. Like any curious kitten, he has a few endearing quirks: he thinks fresh litter is the perfect place for a victory roll, enjoys splashing in his water bowl before taking a drink, and believes phone chargers are irresistible chew toys. Fortunately, he's easy to bathe, easy to handle, and impossible not to love. Donation of $200 for cat adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances.
