ABOUT MASON

A kind and compassionate neighbor watched as a family down the block packed up their belongings and moved away. Unfortunately they forget something - five indoor house cats that were left to fend for themselves on the streets. Horrified, the good Samaritan worked tirelessly to round up the terrified and hungry cats and brought them to AALOC.

These sweet cats were checked by a vet who confirmed they are neutered, healthy and ready to be adopted by a family that understands a pet is forever and not something you toss out with the trash. Micah, Marshall, Max, Midnight and Mason are available for adoption, either as single cat adoptions or as bonded pairs.

Mason is a short-haired orange and white mackerel tabby with golden eyes and a pink button nose. He’s a sweet cat that enjoys attention and gets along very well with his other brothers. As a rule, orange tabbies are the epitome of “couch potatoes,” exhibiting as little energy as possible and making comfort their sole mission. In fact, many owners of orange tabbies will fully admit that their cats are just plain lazy. Given that orange tabbies also enjoy eating (think of cartoon cat Garfield), it is important that their weight is regularly monitored and maintained so as not to get too large. The upside of this proclivity is that orange tabbies make great lap buddies and cuddlers.

Please submit an application to adopt Mason. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Mason and get to know him a bit.
