ABOUT PUMPKIN

Pumpkin’s story began with a trap—but it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to him!

Pumpkin, a handsome orange tabby kitten, had been living on the streets next door to AALOC when one of our team members spotted him. A humane trap baited with food was set, and it didn’t take long for curious Pumpkin to step inside. Before he knew it, he was on his way to a much safer life.

At the veterinarian, Pumpkin was diagnosed with an eye infection. Fortunately, it was easily treated, and he was otherwise healthy. Life on the streets can expose cats to all kinds of dangers and serious illnesses, so Pumpkin was very lucky that someone noticed him and gave him a second chance.

Today, this adorable “dreamsicle” orange boy is ready to leave his days as a stray behind and find a loving home of his own.

Pumpkin can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give him a little time and patience, and his sweet personality begins to shine. Once he feels comfortable, he’s curious, playful, and ready to show you what a wonderful companion he can be.

From a scary trap to a safe and loving home—that’s the kind of happy ending we’re hoping for Pumpkin!
