ABOUT SCARLET
Scarlet was being held at a local shelter but was on their kill list. AALOC could not allow this absolutely adorable female pointer mix to be euthanized so a team member picked her up, saving her life. A foster parent was found and now Scarlet is looking for a forever home with a family that will cherish her as much as she deserves.
Scarlet can be shy with new people but she warms up quickly. She’s a very young dog – still a puppy – and has plenty of energy and enthusiasm. Her foster parent says she is incredibly cuddly, and we know Scarlet is good with small dogs because she lives with dogs under 25 pounds at her current foster home.
Please complete an application to adopt Scarlet. Once your application is reviewed and approved, we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Scarlet and get to know her a bit. For more information on adoption policies click here to view our dog adoption requirements.
Donation of $165 for dog adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit (in Orange County, CA). For more information on adoption policies visit our dog adoption page at www.aaloc.org. Contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org or by phone (714) 893-4393.
