ABOUT THEO

All alone and afraid, Theo hid beneath a car’s engine not understanding this could be the most dangerous place of all. Luckily a kind individual spotted him and brought Theo to Animal Assistance League of Orange County’s front door for safekeeping.

Theo is a sweet orange and white tabby with green eyes and one of the fluffiest tales ever. He’s curious and playful and gets along with other cats. Theo is a little bigger cat which means just more to love and he would make a wonderful addition to your home. Theo does have long hair so he would require regular brushings. Orange mackerel tabbies are usually male because of the gene responsible for their orange color.  Although the research is far from definitive, male cats have been said to be slightly friendlier than female cats, which could explain the loving nature of orange cats.

Theo has recently been diagnosed with a pancytopenia, a condition in which there is a lower-than-normal number of red and white blood cells and platelets in the blood. Unfortunately there is no cure for pancytopenia but supportive treatment will help Theo stay healthy. He will require regular vet visits and extra loving care.

Please submit an application to adopt Theo. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC and get to know him a bit.
