Tiny 8 week old kitten found in a drain with permanent leg damage requiring amputation. AALOC was called by the emergency room veterinarian who found that the kitten was so flea infested that it urgently needed a blood transfusion due to flea anemia. The kitten received fluids and blood to stabilize it, but is still waiting to have it's badly mangled leg removed.
