Maggie giving kisses!

...but decides to nap in the flowers!

All smiles at the park!

Maggie has been under the care of Dr. Cambridge, with Veterinary Surgical Specialists for her numerous broken bones. Her rib fractures and cuts have healed, but her pelvis was shattered into three separate pieces and will take about 6 months for the fibrous tissue to build up enough to support the bones so she can walk normally.
Her spunky personality blossoms more each day and her love of life is contagious! She loves car rides, walks at the park, and stealing a bite of a drive through order! She greets everyone she meets with a wiggle and a kiss!
Jody Jansen of JJ's Animal Training in Newport Beach performed the temperament evaluation for Maggie, and although it was determined that Maggie's love of people didn't transfer to other animals, we are hopeful that Maggie will find the love she deserves as the only pet in a very special home.
Despite intensive efforts of AALOC and the offer of a reward, the perpetrators have not been found. The $2000 reward stands for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those who abused Maggie.
Maggie welcomes all of those who supported her with donations, calls, emails, letters, and prayers to visit during the AALOC Open House on May 1st. Click here for more information.
