$2000 REWARD FOR INFORMATION LEADING TO THE ARREST AND CONVICTION OF THOSE WHO ABUSED MAGGIE
On the evening of October 30th, two teenage boys were beating a pit bull mix with wooden bats as she lay unable to move from numerous broken bones and injuries. Unable to defend herself or run to safety, the torture only stopped when a Good Samaritan chased the abusers away and brought Maggie to a neighbor for help. The Animal Assistance League of Orange County rushed Maggie to Advanced Critical Care Veterinary hospital where Maggie was found to have multiple pelvic fractures, two fractured ribs numerous lacerations and possible leg nerve damage. She can only walk with support of a sling and is being medicated for her pain. Time will heal Maggie's wounds, but it is unknown how much damage may be permanent at this time.
