Kruzer's owner is moving out of the country and is urgently seeking a good home for her cat that acts like a dog!
Please read her letter with information about Kruzer:
Kruzer is a beautiful gray and white silky medium-long hair neutered male,
about 4 years old. He has the softest fur, very long whiskers with a white
bib and white socks. He is a big boy, weighing about 12½ - 13 lbs, perfect
for his height and length. He loves to eat and is definitely not picky. He
also knows the word "chicken" and comes running when he hears it.
When I first got him I told him that I didn't care for cats and if he would
act like a dog, I would keep him. He took me up on it: He fetches, plays
with a ball, knows "sit and stay", and loves to walk on a leach. He is very
sociable and follows me around the house. He will go to his toy box and
pull out a toy to play with. He is friendly like a dog and some attribute
that to the personality of the Maine Coon breed.
Kruzer is very affectionate and loves people. He has given me a new love
for cats and their playful personalities. I've have several dogs and none
were as affectionate and sweet as this kitty. He loves to greet people even
though he is a little shy at first. He is very gentle, does not a fight and
has NEVER hit, scratched or bitten. If provoked he will run rather than
fight which makes me wonder if someone mistreated him. He hides when there
are loud, aggressive kids around and would do best with an elderly couple,
widow or single lady who would like a sweet fluff ball to love them.
He loves mealtime, playing with his toys when anyone will play with him,
and big belly rubs. He is happiest when on a routine and looks forward
to things at the same time.
It breaks my heart to have to give him away but I can't take him with me. I
would invite anyone interested to meet him and watch some of his cute
antics.
